Each SmartNet prepaid card will
have two hidden numbers under
scratchable silver films found at
the back of the card.
First time users will use a Starter
Pack containing a CD-Rom to
configure the PC. The configuration
steps are as follows :
- Insert the CD-Rom into the
CD-Drive and wait for a few
seconds.
A menu will appear
- Choose Install and let the
system configure the PC for
Dial-up. Other tools may be
installed at a later stage as
per requirement.
- Once installation complete,
quit the menu.
A browser will appear on the
desktop and user will be asked
to fill in his or her details to
activate the account. The time
for filling the details is
provided free of charge.
- Once account is activated,
Internet will be disconnected
and the following will apply :
Click on Dial-up button on your
browser and enter your username
and password and enjoy your
browsing.
- For future use, your browser
will be installed on your
desktop.
- Double click on SmartNet
